This initiative highlights and supports businesses founded by migrants, recognising entrepreneurship as a pathway to independence, confidence, and long-term stability.

This Initiative Exists To

  • Highlight and support businesses founded or led by migrants
  • Strengthen economic inclusion and local networks
  • Encourage ethical, community-based enterprise
  • Celebrate entrepreneurship as a form of agency and self-determination

Participation in this initiative is voluntary and separate from any crisis, legal, or support services. It is intended for individuals and businesses that are safe and seeking visibility, collaboration, or community connection.

This platform does not prioritise businesses based on background, gender, or experience of hardship. The focus is on enterprise, contribution, and community impact.

Who Can Participate

This initiative is open to:

  • Businesses founded or co-founded by migrants
  • Social enterprises and small to medium businesses
  • Sole traders and community-based ventures
  • Businesses operating ethically and lawfully in Australia

Participation does not require disclosure of personal history, migration status, or lived experiences beyond what is relevant to the business itself.

How Businesses Are Featured

Businesses may be featured through:

  • Community spotlights
  • Resource sharing
  • Collaborative initiatives
  • Ethical partnerships

Inclusion is subject to basic review for alignment with community values and legal compliance.
